Scientific Name: Altolamprologus calvus white                                       

Habitat: Lake Tanganyika, Africa

Max Size: 4-6 inches

Diet: Live foods, some frozen (except beef heart or any other food containing mammalian products). Flake foods are accepted sometimes.

Min Tank Size: 55 gallons

Temperament: Semi-Aggressive

Breeding: Substrate spawners. Spawning occurs in a cave or shell too small for the male to enter. The male will release his milt at the entrace. Both fish will fan the milt to direct it to the eggs. Spawns are usually every 25-35 days with as many as 200 eggs.

PH: 8.5-9.0
