What are Points, and How to Use Them

Points?

Looking at peoples "stats" under their name I see things like posts, member since, and etc. What does the points category mean? Just curious...

As you can see stilllearnin is still earnin, he's the richest man here, over $1072 points....you can buy certain options on the store [url]http://www.cichlidfish.com/portal/forums/store.php?action=main[/url]
Posting in some forums like (Plant forum) gives you more points than posting in other forums....later I was thinking of maybe selling users a cichlidfish T-shirt etc.. for points
and/or we can add more options on the current store [url]http://www.cichlidfish.com/portal/forums/store.php?action=main[/url]
This feature hasn't really been used though, I don't even know if many know of it
