I know this site doesn't have discus fish on it but I hope someone can help me as I do not know where else to turn. I have a sick Discus fish and other chat lines that I have been on have been unable to help or don't reply. My discus has been floating/hovering on one side of the tank - near the top not on the bottom or in a corner - for over a month now. She isn't eating at all. The only thing she will attempt to eat are bloodworms but spits them out. Her fins are not clamped, she is not gasping for air but she just doesn't do anything....she doesn't swim, she doesn't socialize and she doesn't eat. She is not dark but she is not as vibrantly coloured as she was, her colours are kind of dull. I was told to treat her with Metro which I did but to no avail. My water readings are 0-0-5 and all of the other discus (6 others) are doing fine. I just don't know what else to do. Last night when I fed everyone she darted around for a second and was rapidly breathing (like I had frightened her), then she just went back to hovering. Please, any information you could provide me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Lori
