Most Oscars, when there is change in their lives, tend to hide and/or lie down on their sides and feel sorry for themselves. If you need to move a large Oscar to a new aquarium, first take out all the tank decorations and siphon out a portion of the water; then line the bottom of the tank with a bath towel. Most (but not all) Oscars will, amazingly, simply (and comically) lie down on their side on the towel. Just pick the towel up by it's 4 corners and you got him! Throw the Net Away!
