Anyone know of a cash register type set-up, that will run off of a windows 98 based computer?

I've got an extra computer,that I want to put in my store and would like to figure out a way to have it print reciepts and keep track of sales - but the only way I've ever set something up like this before was on a Unix system - but I'm looking to set something up on windows,so I can also use my computer to get online when things are slow.update my website and run other programs.


also whats the best current way to buy/register a domain name? still internic ?
What are decient going rates on a host?
