cost to set up a 10 gallon salt water tank excluding the fish, and also can i just buy a salt water filter i have a 10 gallon tank now and how much does the filter cost?

fish only setup?
nano reef?
inverts only?

It will depend on exactly how your setting up and stocking the tank.


One word of advice,if you haven't kept a salt water setup for a decient amount of time don't try to start with a 10 gallon.


Smaller tanks are harder to keep then bigger ones especially with salt water if your new at it.

It depends on what kind of SW tank you want? So far in mine I have probley spent 400$ in a nano tank fish,coral,cleaner crew,liverock,.
